Appeals must be registered in writing within 3 days of the protest decision. Appeals against a Protest Decision will be heard by two event officials and one rider's representative and the outcome will be communicated to all concerned in writing at the earliest possible time.

The Race
Following technical inspection competitors will place their machines on the start line as indicated by the marker boards and start line official. Any machine found without a Technical Inspection indicator or parked on the wrong row will be removed from the start line.
All riders must be present at the start line 15 minutes prior to the start of their race. Any machine without a rider will be removed from the line.
The race briefing will be given by the Clerk of The Course approx 10 minutes prior to the race commencing. It is essential that you are present for the briefing as important safety information as well as any last minute changes to the event will be given at this time.
Following the briefing the "Warm Up Engines" board will be raised and engines may be started.
Shortly afterwards the "Stop Engines" board will be raised and all engines must be stopped.
The Start Line Official will then show the warning board - 15 Seconds" and the countdown will begin. At some point during the countdown from 15 to zero the start flag will be dropped, engines may be started and the race begins.
Please note that you will be racing against other riders in your class only - everyone in your class will start the race at the same time.
The race will then run for 1/1.5 hrs depending on class this may be reduced at any time prior to or during the race without notice. Once the race time has passed the chequered flag will be raised and the riders finish time will be noted.
The rider who then passes the chequered flag with the most laps will be the winner, the next rider second and so on.

Note: Once the chequered flag has been raised the course closing marshal will be sent out and the timing equipment will remain active for a further 30 minutes. After that time it will be turned off and any riders passing the flag thereafter will not have their final lap counted. Their score will be taken from the previous lap. Lap times will normally be between 10 and 20 minutes, a 30 minute allowance allows sufficient time for slower riders to complete their lap whilst still enabling the results to be published promptly.

Signing On
When you arrive at the race details of the administration will be clearly displayed at the signing on area. Please pay special attention to the timings and also any supplementary instructions which are displayed.

Children and Pets
We welcome children and pets at our events but please remember that there are vehicles moving around the area at all times. Pets must be kept on a lead at all times when out of a vehicle. A number of events are in summer so if you are bringing a pet please bring something to allow it to be secured outdoors and have plenty of water to drink - cars and vans get very hot.

All Children, especially very young ones must be supervised by a parent at all times and no-one under 16 (other than competitors during there race) may enter the pit area. Any child found without a parent will have there rider removed from the race or other penalties may be imposed.

Paddock and Camping Area.
Children and pets walk around the paddock area so please:
NO RIDING OF MOTORBIKES (of any kind) IN THE PADDOCK.
Please park considerately in the paddock; allow a clear roadway in and out, by all means use the space available but if it is limited please allow everyone a fair share.
Do not jet wash your bikes in the paddock, it causes the ground to become muddy and it also washes petrol and oil into the landowner's soil. Where possible a designated Jet Wash area will be set up and will be clearly sign posted.
If you are sleeping in a tent please ensure that it is either fully protected from traffic or is very clearly visible at night time. Remember there will be vehicles moving around in the paddock after dark.
Please take your rubbish home with you, your entry fees have to cover the cost of skips, we try to keep costs down - help us to help you.

BBQs
Whilst we have never had to impose a BBQ ban please be careful, especially during the summer months, with their placement and operation. Please do not place disposable BBQs directly onto the grass.
